The Luminor Quaranta Razer Special Edition is an impressive watch, limited to only 500 pieces, and available exclusively through Panerai boutiques and Panerai.com. The watch is immediately identifiable as part of the iconic Luminor collection, with its cushion-shaped case and patented crown-protection bridge. The black and electric green colorway, inspired by Razer's signature colors, gives the watch a bold and modern look. The 40mm case is composed of eSteelTM, a next-generation metal made of recycled steel, and coated with DLC for a matte black finish.
The Luminor Quaranta Razer Special Edition is powered by the P.900 caliber, measuring only 4.2mm thick yet featuring a seconds subdial at 9 o’clock, a date window at 3 o’clock, and a three-day power reserve. The watch is water-resistant to 10 bar (~100 meters) and includes the quick release system that allows the strap to be replaced without any tools. Additionally, the buckle features the new quick-release system, making it easy to adapt the watch’s look with the additional strap in black rubber.
Sustainability is at the heart of the Luminor Quaranta Razer Special Edition, with recycled materials being a critical component of the watch's design. The strap is made from recycled PET derived from post-consumer plastic bottles, and the watch comes in packaging composed of 72% recycled material, weighing 53% less than the previous version.
