  • The H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Alpine Unique Piece is a collaborative creation with Best Water Technology (BWT) intended to benefit a worthy cause. This one-of-a-kind timepiece isn't just about impressive mechanics; it's a direct supporter of AQUA PEARLS, a non-profit foundation established by BWT and its CEO, Andreas Weissenbacher. AQUA PEARLS is dedicated to providing clean drinking water access around the globe. This watch represents a step beyond the typical partnership, highlighting a shared responsibility to take action where clean water access, a basic necessity, is concerned.

This unique piece builds upon the foundation of the Streamliner Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Alpine Limited Edition. What sets this watch apart is its exclusive blue DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) treatment on the steel case. This particular shade of blue isn't just an aesthetic choice; it's meant to symbolize the purity of water. The watch also incorporates a striking blend of blue and pink accents. These colors link back to the partners involved: BWT and the BWT Alpine Formula One Team. The skeletonized main dial is prominent. Above it, at the 12 o'clock position, sits a smaller, domed dial crafted from synthetic corundum. This small dial is rendered in BWT's signature bright pink. This use of corundum, a very hard and clear material, adds a depth and intensity to the pink color.

Notably, the watch face is devoid of any overt branding. This absence of a logo leans into a design philosophy that prioritizes a clean, pure, and exclusive aesthetic. The indices on the dial are coated with Super-Luminova, making them glow in low-light. The blued hour and minute hands have added inserts made of Globolight. This material combination promises excellent visibility, regardless of lighting conditions. The selected strap for this piece is made of pink rubber, continuing the bold color theme. Underneath all the aesthetic considerations lies the heart of the watch: the automatic calibre HMC 811 movement. This movement is fully skeletonized, offering a clear view of its inner workings from both the front and the back.

The one-minute flying tourbillon, positioned at 6 o'clock, is a focal point. It features a blue cage bridge that matches the color of the hands. Adding to the visual spectacle is the cylindrical balance-spring, which also rotates at the 6 o'clock position. The decision to auction this unique piece underscores its purpose. All proceeds generated from the sale will directly benefit BWT's AQUA PEARLS Foundation. This organization, a key initiative of Europe's leading water technology company, is committed to improving the lives of disadvantaged communities and promoting a healthier environment. The foundation's work centers around projects such as constructing wells and providing education centered around sustainability, all geared towards ensuring sustainable access to clean drinking water.

BWT, as a company, is deeply rooted in principles of sustainability, social responsibility, and responsible resource management. Their vision, "Change the World – sip by sip," reflects a dedication to creating innovative water treatment solutions for a wide range of applications. Their products are designed with a focus on resource conservation, minimizing energy use, and ensuring access to high-quality water. BWT is also actively working to reduce reliance on single-use plastic bottles by filtering and enriching local water with minerals. This approach not only promotes a healthier lifestyle but also tackles the environmental issues associated with the transportation, storage, and disposal of bottled water.

    H. Moser & Cie., known for its minimalist aesthetic and sometimes unconventional approaches, finds common ground with BWT's values. The watchmaker, by actively supporting this cause, reinforces its commitment to contributing to a more sustainable future. The design of the watch is intended to evoke both high performance and a connection with the natural world. According to Edouard Meylan, CEO of H. Moser & Cie., the collaboration with BWT Alpine Formula One Team and BWT allowed them to create a timepiece that is not only a technological achievement but also a symbol of support for a critical cause. The watch, in his view, embodies their commitment to driving impactful change. Andreas Weissenbacher, CEO of BWT, echoes this sentiment. He views this initiative as a demonstration of how different industries can collaborate to achieve real, sustainable change.
