Its 34mm case is constructed from 316L stainless steel, featuring a combination of polished and satin finishes that interplay with ambient light. The watch's notched bezel, also crafted from 316L steel, exhibits alternating cut grooves and a polished finish, adding a subtle yet distinctive texture. A screw-down winding crown, adorned with the Tudor logo, ensures water resistance to a depth of 100 meters (330 feet), making it suitable for everyday wear and recreational swimming.

At the heart of the M28400-0009 lies the self-winding Calibre T601, a mechanical movement with an approximate power reserve of 38 hours. This movement drives the watch's central hour, minute, and seconds hands, as well as a date display positioned at the 3 o'clock marker. Protecting the salmon-colored dial is a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Completing the watch is an integrated five-row bracelet fabricated from 316L steel.
