It features a 41mm diameter case constructed from stainless steel, exhibiting both polished and satin finishes for a refined yet robust aesthetic. The case measures 14.6mm in thickness and is fitted with 22mm lugs designed to accommodate a variety of straps. A key functional element is the bidirectional rotatable bezel, crafted from steel and featuring a 24-hour graduated disc in a striking combination of matt burgundy and blue. This anodized aluminum disc facilitates the tracking of a second time zone, a hallmark of GMT watches. Protecting the dial is a domed sapphire crystal, renowned for its scratch resistance and clarity. The Black Bay GMT is engineered for water resistance up to a depth of 200 meters (660 feet), making it suitable for recreational diving activities.

At the heart of this timepiece lies the Manufacture Calibre MT5652, a self-winding mechanical movement entirely developed by Tudor. This movement is certified by the Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC), assuring its accuracy and precision.
