The case features a combination of polished and satin-brushed finishes, providing a refined yet understated aesthetic. With a thickness of 14.4mm, the watch strikes a balance between wrist presence and wearability. A fixed bezel, also constructed from 316L stainless steel, is fitted with a matt black anodized aluminum disc. This disc displays a tachymetric scale with silver markings, adding functionality for measuring speed and distance. The watch is equipped with a screw-down winding crown, adorned with the signature Tudor rose in relief, and screw-down pushers at 2 and 4 o'clock, all manufactured from 316L stainless steel for enhanced durability and water resistance.

At the heart of the Black Bay Chrono beats the Manufacture Calibre MT5813, a self-winding mechanical chronograph movement with a bidirectional rotor system. This sophisticated movement boasts a power reserve of approximately 70 hours, ensuring reliable timekeeping even after periods of inactivity. The movement drives the central hour, minute, and chronograph seconds hands, as well as the 30-minute and 12-hour totalizers located on the dial at 3 and 9 o'clock respectively. A date aperture is positioned at 6 o'clock for added practicality. The black dial, with its contrasting silver counters, is domed for a vintage-inspired aesthetic, while the domed sapphire crystal provides exceptional scratch resistance and clarity.
