It has a thickness of 16mm, contributing to its robust construction and a lug-to-lug length of 49mm. The 22mm lug width offers versatility in strap choices. The case features a polished finish, enhancing its visual appeal. A screw-in case back and screw-in crown ensure water resistance, a crucial feature for a dive watch.

Powering the Squale 2002 Blue-Red is the Sellita SW200-1, a self-winding mechanical movement renowned for its reliability and accuracy.
