DescriptionThe Squale 1521 Ocean Bracelet (Ref. 1521OCN.SQ20L) is a purpose-built dive watch with a lineage tracing back to the mid-20th century. Measuring 42mm in diameter, the case is constructed from 316L stainless steel and features a polished finish. With a thickness of 12.5mm and a lug-to-lug length of 48mm, it strikes a balance between wrist presence and everyday wearability. The watch is equipped with a screw-down crown and caseback, ensuring water resistance to a depth of 50 ATM, equivalent to 500 meters. A unidirectional rotating bezel, with a blue aluminum insert and luminous markings, allows for safe tracking of elapsed time during dives. The watch is powered by the Sellita SW200-1, a self-winding mechanical movement known for its robustness and accuracy. This Elaboré grade movement oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and boasts a power reserve of 38 hours. The SW200-1 is fitted with 26 jewels and features a hacking seconds mechanism for precise time setting. Protecting the dial is a flat sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, providing clarity and scratch resistance. The dial itself is sunray blue with printed indexes and Super-LumiNova C3 for optimal legibility in low-light conditions.
