Constructed from 316L stainless steel, the case measures 42mm in diameter, 12.5mm thick, and has a lug-to-lug length of 48mm. It features a screw-in caseback and crown, ensuring water resistance to a depth of 50 atmospheres (500 meters). The watch is equipped with a unidirectional rotating bezel with an aluminum insert, a crucial tool for divers to monitor immersion time. Its flat sapphire crystal includes an anti-reflective coating for optimal readability in various lighting conditions.

Powering the 1521 Militaire is the Swiss-made Sellita SW200-1, an automatic mechanical movement known for its dependability. This self-winding movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and boasts a 38-hour power reserve. The SW200-1 has 26 jewels and an "Elabore" level of finishing, indicating a high degree of regulation and adjustment. The movement drives the hour, minute, and seconds hands, which are displayed on a black dial with printed indexes coated in Super-LumiNova C3 for excellent low-light visibility.
