Its dimensions include a thickness of 12.5mm, a lug-to-lug length of 48mm, and a lug width of 20mm. A polished finish graces the exterior of the case, providing a sleek and refined aesthetic. Furthermore, the watch features both a screw-in caseback and crown, ensuring a secure seal that contributes to its impressive water resistance of 50 ATM (approximately 500 meters or 1640 feet).

At the heart of the 1521 Blue Ray is the automatic Sellita SW200-1 movement, a reliable and accurate caliber commonly found in Swiss-made timepieces. This self-winding movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and boasts a power reserve of 38 hours.
