Its 42mm case, crafted from 316L stainless steel, provides a balance of presence and wearability. At 12.5mm thick and with a lug-to-lug length of 48mm, it's designed to fit comfortably on a variety of wrist sizes. The watch boasts a polished finish, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Water resistance is ensured to a depth of 50 ATM, equivalent to 500 meters, making it suitable for professional diving. A screw-in caseback and screw-in crown further enhance its watertight integrity.

Powering the 1521 Blue Ray is the Swiss-made Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement. This self-winding caliber operates at a frequency of 28,800 A/h (4 Hz) and features 26 jewels. Classified as 'Elabore' grade, it offers a power reserve of 38 hours. The movement drives the watch's hour, minute, and seconds hands, along with a date display at the 3 o'clock position.
