The case features a blasted finish, providing a durable and non-reflective surface. With a thickness of 12.5mm, it strikes a balance between wrist presence and everyday wearability. A screw-in crown and caseback contribute to the watch's impressive 50 ATM (500 meters) water resistance, making it suitable for professional diving. The watch has a lug-to-lug length of 48mm and a lug width of 20mm, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of straps.

Powering the 1521 Black Blasted Leather is a Swiss-made Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement.
