DescriptionThe Sinn EZM 12, reference 112.010, is engineered with a focus on functionality in emergency medical scenarios. Its 44mm case, constructed from bead-blasted stainless steel, provides a robust and non-reflective housing. The case incorporates Sinn's TEGIMENT Technology, significantly enhancing its scratch resistance. Further strengthening this hardened exterior is the outer rotating bezel. It features a Black Hard Coating, and sits upon a TEGIMENT Technology foundation, creating an additional level of resilience against wear. The integration of Ar-Dehumidifying Technology enhances the watch's reliability by minimizing internal moisture, improving resistance to fogging. It offers magnetic field Protection, shielding the movement from magnetic fields up to 100mT (equivalent to 80,000 A/m). The watch maintains its functional reliability within a substantial temperature range, from -45 °C to +80 °C.

Powering the EZM 12 is the ETA 2836-2, a self-winding mechanical movement. It houses 25 bearing jewels and beats at a frequency of 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour. This movement integrates a seconds stop function, facilitating precise time setting. It complies with the anti-magnetic standards defined by DIN 8309. Protecting the movement is a screw-fastened, nickel-free case back. The front features a sapphire crystal, treated with an anti-reflective coating on both sides, thus maximizing visibility under varying light conditions. For time-critical applications, the EZM 12 presents a count-up inner rotating bezel, crucial for monitoring the “platinum ten minutes” and “golden hour” in emergency situations. A countdown outer rotating bezel, including a luminescent key mark, assists in precise timing, such as for medication administration. Furthermore, this model showcases a special feature of the EZM 12. This unique rotor-shaped seconds hand includes a pulse scale, designed to measure the heart rate at 15-second intervals. Meeting DIN 8310, the watch guarantees water and pressure resistance up to 20 bar, also remaining resistant to low-pressure environments. It's attached with a black silicone strap, that can be attached without tools. It weighs 122 grams without the strap, and the lug width measures 22 mm, and its case thickness is 14 mm. A matte black dial with indices and hour/minute hands finished with a luminescent coating, along with a day/date display, completes the package.
