This movement contains 25 bearing jewels and operates at a frequency of 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour (4 Hz), ensuring accurate timekeeping. It incorporates a seconds stop function, crucial for precise time setting. Additionally, the movement is anti-magnetic, conforming to the standards outlined in DIN 8309, which protects it from the accuracy-affecting influence of magnetic fields. The chronograph function is displayed with three sub-dials. A 12 hour counter, a jumping 30 minute counter, and central stop watch second hand.

The 144.066 casing consists of bead-blasted stainless steel, giving the watch a matte, non-reflective finish that improves tool-watch readability. The front crystal is made of sapphire, treated with an anti-reflective coating on the interior surface to minimize glare. A transparent case back, also constructed from sapphire crystal with an interior anti-reflective coating, allows for observation of the movement.
