DescriptionThe Sinn 358 DIAPAL, reference 358.061, represents a sophisticated combination of chronographic functionality and advanced material technology. Its case, meticulously crafted from satinized stainless steel, measures 42mm in diameter and 15mm in thickness. The overall construction results in a weight of 86 grams, excluding the strap. The design adheres strictly to engineering principles, with a screw-fastened case back and a screwable crown contributing to a water resistance rating of 10 bar, meeting the standards defined in DIN 8310. It also features a domed sapphire crystal on the front with antireflective coatings on the front and back and a screw-down caseback. This design confirms its resilience to low-pressure environments.

Powering the 358.061 is the LJP L100 self-winding movement. This mechanism incorporates 26 bearing jewels and operates at a frequency of 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour. It provides a seconds stop function for precise time setting and offers anti-magnetic properties complying with DIN 8309 standards. A GMT function is also included showing a second time zone on a 12-hour basis. The movement's specifications are subject to change due to ongoing technical developments, with any new updates available from partners in Frankfurt. The anthracite electroplated dial features indices and numerals coated with luminescent material, a treatment also applied to the hour, minute, and stopwatch second hands, ensuring legibility under all conditions. Sinn's proprietary technologies are extensively implemented. DIAPAL technology is used for a lubrication-free escapement, promoting longevity. Ar-Dehumidifying Technology minimizes internal fogging. Lastly, Temperature Resistance Technology ensures reliable operation within a range from -45°C to +80°C.
