The core of its operation is the Sellita SW 510 M caliber. This movement, a hand-wound mechanism, features 23 bearing jewels and operates at a frequency of 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour (4 Hz). A seconds stop function, commonly referred to as "hacking," is incorporated, permitting precise time-setting. The movement offers antimagnetic properties compliant with DIN 8309 standards, providing protection against the disruptive effects of magnetic fields on timekeeping accuracy. Its hand wound movement has a power reserve exceeding 58 hours.

The 103.211's case, constructed from polished stainless steel, measures 41 mm in diameter, with a lug width of 20 mm accommodating the included straps. Its overall thickness is 14.8 mm. The watch features a shock-resistant acrylic crystal, paying homage to vintage watch designs. The case back is screw-fastened, contributing to the watch's overall structural integrity. The watch is engineered to satisfy the technical prerequisites for water resistance, defined by the DIN 8310 standard. As a result, the 103.211 is designated as water-resistant and pressure-resistant up to 20 bar, rendering it suitable for diving and water activities, and low-pressure-resistant. Sinn's D3-System is integrated into the crown design, enhancing the water-resistance and durability of the crown mechanism. The dial is a silk matte black, providing a high-contrast background.
