DescriptionThe Sinn 358 Sa PILOT, designated by reference 358.060, represents a meticulous evolution of the foundational 356 instrument chronograph design. Central to its architecture is a satinized stainless steel case measuring 42mm in diameter, 15mm in thickness and with a band lug width of 22mm, while the case alone, absent of its strap, weighs 86 grams. This substantial presence is balanced by enhanced functionalities and a commitment to durability. The timepiece is engineered to withstand pressures up to 10 bar, corroborating its water-resistance as defined by DIN 8310 standards. This, combined with its low-pressure resistance, allows this watch to be used in a variety of different environments. Its screw-fastened crown also contributes towards the overall water resistance of the case.

Powering the 358.060 is the SW 500 self-winding mechanical movement. It contains 25 bearing jewels and runs at a frequency of 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour, incorporating a critical seconds stop function. The movement’s inherent robustness and timekeeping capabilities. Antimagnetic properties, conforming to DIN 8309, safeguard the movement's precision from external magnetic interference. Visible through both the front and a transparent, screw-fastened case back, both created from sapphire crystal, the movement and dial layout emphasize legibility, with anti-reflective coating on both sides of the front crystal and on the interior of the case back's crystal. The dial is matte black. The numerals and indices, along with the hour, minute, and stopwatch second hands, are treated with a luminescent coating for clarity in low-light conditions. The dial presents standard hours, minutes, and subsidiary seconds, along with a chronograph function, date, and day of the week display. Sinn's proprietary Ar-Dehumidifying Technology has been integrated to improve operational reliability and remove fogging, ensuring an optimal viewing experience.
