DescriptionThe Sinn 356 Sa PILOT, reference 356.070, is a meticulously engineered pilot's chronograph. Its movement, the SW 500, is a self-winding mechanism incorporating 25 bearing jewels. This movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour, ensuring precise timekeeping. It also has anti-magnetic properties as per DIN 8309 and a built-in seconds stop function. The provided movement specifications are in accordance with current output from Frankfurt am Main. The 356 Sa PILOT's case, constructed from satinized stainless steel, measures 38.5 mm in diameter, with a band lug width of 20 mm and a case thickness of 15 mm. It features a screw-fastened case back and a screwable crown, contributing to its water resistance. The watch is water-resistant and pressure-resistant up to 10 bar, meeting the technical prerequisites as specified in standard DIN 8310. Also the design of the model 356.070, has a low pressure resistance incorporated. The front crystal is crafted from sapphire, treated with an anti-reflective coating on both sides, enhancing readability. The transparent case back is made from sapphire crystal, offering a view of the movement, features anti-reflective treatment on the interior surface. A high domed shape is given to the front sapphire crystal. Five different curvature radii are used when grounding out of a substantial five-millimeter thick solid blank.
