DescriptionThe Sinn 356 PILOT Classic W (reference 356.0201) represents a meticulous refinement of the classic pilot chronograph design. Its case, meticulously crafted from bead-blasted stainless steel, measures 38.5 mm in diameter and 15.6 mm in thickness. This construction ensures robustness while maintaining a comfortable presence on the wrist. The band lug width is a standard 20mm. The solid, screw-fastened case back contributes to the watch's water resistance, rated at 10 bar, meeting the DIN 8310 standard. Crucially, the case is also designed to be resistant to low-pressure environments. The total weight, with out any strap, is seventy one grams. The watch is a winner of the Red Dot Product Design Award 2024.

Powering the 356 PILOT Classic W is the SW 510, a self-winding mechanical movement. This movement features a seconds stop function, allowing for precise time setting. It boasts 27 bearing jewels and a frequency of 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour, ensuring accurate timekeeping. Its power reserve exceeding 56 hours. The movement is also anti-magnetic, in accordance with DIN 8309 standards. The dial itself is a matt-silk white finish. A bicompax layout, with subsidiary seconds and chronograph counters featuring a black, electroplated matt-silk finish, provides visual contrast and enhanced legibility. The indices are coated with a luminescent material, as are the hour, minute, and stopwatch second hands, optimizing visibility in low-light conditions. The watch design includes a scale allowing for the measurement of a quarter of a second for short-time measurements, a testament to its functional pilot watch heritage. A vintage-inspired design that is, shock proof, housed behind acrylic glass.
