DescriptionThe Sinn 356 PILOT, reference 356.020, represents a classically designed pilot's chronograph. Its construction centers around a bead-blasted stainless steel case, measuring 38.5 mm in diameter and 15.5 mm in thickness. This case material provides durability and a non-reflective, utilitarian finish. The band lug width is standardized at 20 mm, accommodating a variety of strap options. A substantial, screw-fastened case back contributes towards its water resistance and pressure resistance of up to 10 bar, additionally its construction helps meet the criteria for being low-pressure resistant. The crown is also screwable, furthering the watch's water resistance capabilities that align with DIN 8310 standards for water-resistance in timepieces. Total weight of the watch head, without any attached strap, is 71 grams.

Powering the 356 PILOT is the Sellita SW 500 self-winding mechanical movement. The SW500 incorporates a seconds stop function, supporting precise setting of the time. This caliber beats at a frequency of 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour (4 Hz), includes 25 bearing jewels to reduce internal friction, which improves movement precision. The timekeeping functions that are included are hours, minutes, and subsidiary seconds. The Movement also features a chronograph function, with capabilities for measuring elapsed time. Added displays consist of a date indicator and day of the week indicator. This movement is also engineered to be anti-magnetic, adhering to the specifications outlined in DIN 8309. The matte black dial prioritizes legibility.
