The movement oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour, ensuring accurate timekeeping. The SW 220-1 caliber is, furthermore, designed with a seconds stop function (commonly known as hacking), allowing for precise time setting. The watch adheres to DIN 8309 standards for anti-magnetism, protecting the movement from the adverse effects of magnetic fields commonly encountered. The design features a practical day and date display, positioned for clear visibility alongside the standard hours, minutes, and seconds indication.

The watch's 41mm diameter case is constructed from polished stainless steel.
