Its case, with a diameter of 39 mm and a thickness of 9.1 mm, is fabricated from a polished 935 Argentium silver alloy. Argentium, a patented material, exhibits superior tarnish resistance compared to conventional sterling silver due to the formation of a germanium oxide layer. This reduces maintenance and preserves the aesthetic appeal of the metal. The watch assembly integrates a screw-fastened case back and a crown utilizing Sinn's D3-System technology. Without the included black calfskin strap (which fastens with a polished stainless steel pin buckle), the watch head weighs 59 grams. The band lug width, where the strap attaches, is a standard 20mm.

The dial, a focal point of the 1739 Ag B, features an electroplated blue finish enhanced by a sunburst decoration. This creates a dynamic play of light across the dial surface. Time indication is minimalist, limited to hours and minutes, provided by rhodium-plated hands. Rhodium plating is also applied to the hour indices, which are manually affixed appliqués.
