DescriptionThe Sinn U1 C HAI, reference 1010.0255, is a specialized diving instrument, representing a collaborative effort with Chronos and WatchTime Germany, and limited to a production run of 300 units. A core design aspect involves the dial’s color gradation, transitioning from grey at its center to black at its periphery. The integration of this dial is visually harmonized with a 44mm case featuring a Black Hard Coating. This coating is not merely aesthetic; it's applied over a case hardened via TEGIMENT technology, ensuring superior durability and scratch resistance. The case itself is fabricated from high-strength, seawater-resistant German Submarine Steel. This material selection is crucial for providing exceptional anti-magnetic properties, complying with DIN 8309 standards, as well as outstanding resistance to corrosion in marine environments.

The watch incorporates a Sellita SW 200-1 automatic movement. This caliber features a self-winding mechanism, operates at a frequency of 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour (4 Hz), and includes a hacking seconds function (second stop function) for precise time setting. The movement contains 26 bearing jewels, contributing to its operational efficiency and longevity. The movement chosen matches current manufacturing processes, it is important to recognize that variations between models held by sales partners might appear over the course of time. The U1 C HAI has a robust, screw-fastened case back, and a screw-down crown, strategically positioned at the 4 o'clock location. The case diameter measures 44 mm, with a lug width of 22mm which will fit the included intergrated grey silcone strap and has a case thickness of 14.7mm. This limited edition piece has an engraved shark motif and a unique serial number for each of 300 units.

The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, treated with an anti-reflective coating on both inner and outer surfaces. The hands and indices are treated for increased visability. The weight, excluding any strap, is documented at 113 grams. This model displays hours, minutes, and seconds, with a date aperture incorporated. A unidirectional diver's bezel, featuring minute ratcheting and a luminous key marker, is securely attached to the case preventing detachment under duress. Independent certification confirms its water and pressure resistance up to 1,000 meters (equivalent to 100 bar), adherence to the DIN 8310 standard for water resistance, and compliance with European diving equipment standards EN 250 and EN14143, as well as DIN 8306. It is also rated as low-pressure resistant.
