DescriptionThe Sinn EZM 3, reference 603.010, is a purpose-built diving instrument engineered to withstand demanding operational environments. Its construction and feature set reflect a commitment to reliability, legibility, and resistance to external forces. The 41mm case is manufactured from bead-blasted stainless steel, providing a durable, non-reflective finish. The case back is screw-fastened and nickel-free to help prevent any form of alergic reactions. A screwable crown, positioned on the left side of the case (at the 9 o'clock position) to minimize potential snagging or pressure against the wearer's hand, contributes to the substantial water resistance. This design element ensures comfort, especially during active use.

The watch's mechanical movement is a Sellita SW200-1. This self-winding caliber features 26 bearing jewels and operates at a frequency of 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour, providing a smooth sweep of the seconds hand. A seconds stop function (hacking) is incorporated, allowing for precise time setting. The movement is shielded against magnetic fields up to 100mT (equivalent to 80,000 A/m), meeting the anti-magnetic standards specified by DIN 8309. Sinn's implementation of Magnetic Field Protection involves a soft iron inner cage encasing the movement, acting as a barrier against disruptive magnetic forces. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, treated with an anti-reflective coating on both the interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring maximum clarity. Adhering to the mission-timer (Einsatzzeitmesser) design philosophy, the EZM 3 features a matte black dial with high-contrast, luminescent-coated indices and hands. Furthermore, the EZM 3 has been rigorously tested and certified to meet the European diving equipment standards EN 250 and EN14143, and to the diving norm DIN 8306. It maintains a water-resistant and pressure resistance of up to 500 meters (50 bar), certified by an external, autonomous body. The watch's dimensions and weight further contribute to its practicality: a case diameter of 41 mm, a band lug width of 20 mm, and a case thickness of 12.3 mm, with the overall weight of just the head being 81 grams. The watch is low pressure resistant.
