DescriptionThe Sinn 206 St Ar, reference 206.010, represents a modernized interpretation of the classic 203 series, increasing the case diameter while maintaining the core design ethos. Constructed from polished and satinized stainless steel, the case measures 43mm in diameter, 17mm in thickness, and has a lug width of 22mm. The watch's build, without the strap, is a solid 95 grams. The engineering incorporates a screw-down crown and a screw-fastened case back, both contributing to the impressive water resistance. The transparent case back is fabricated from sapphire crystal glass and features an anti-reflective coating on the interior surface, while the front crystal, also sapphire, benefits from anti-reflective treatment on both sides.

Powering the 206 St Ar is the Concepto C99001, a self-winding mechanical movement. This caliber features 25 bearing jewels, operates at a frequency of 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour (4 Hz), and includes a seconds stop function (hacking) for precise time setting. The movement provides the standard timekeeping functions of hours, minutes, and subsidiary seconds, as well as a date display, day of the week display, and chronograph capabilities. Protection against magnetic fields is assured, compliant with DIN 8309 standards. The watch further showcases Sinn's proprietary Ar-Dehumidifying Technology, designed to minimize moisture intrusion and ensure freedom from fogging. Integration of the D3-System for the push-pieces simplifies chronograph operation, making them readily accessible. A captive diver's bezel with minute ratcheting.
