DescriptionThe Sinn 206 ARKTIS II, reference 206.012, is an evolution of the original 203 ARKTIS, retaining its signature features while incorporating modern advancements. The watch's core functionality is powered by the Concepto C99001, a self-winding mechanical movement. This movement contains 25 bearing jewels and operates at a frequency of 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour, providing accurate timekeeping with a seconds stop function for precise setting. The movement, assembled in Frankfurt am Main, is designed and created to resist magnetic fields as outlined by DIN 8309 standards. The 206 Arktis II lists hours, minutes, and sub-seconds, coupled with the date and day-of-the-week displayed on the dial. It is a chronograph that is built to very high specifications.

The watch case, constructed from polished and satinized stainless steel, measures 43mm in diameter and 17mm in thickness, and features a 22mm band lug width. It is engineered to withstand extreme environments. The case is topped with a sapphire crystal glass, treated with anti-reflective coating on both sides, with a transparent case back constructed of the same sapphire crystal which is AR-coated inside. The crown is screwable, and it meets requirements and standards for water resistance, as detailed in DIN 8310. Pressure-resistant to 30 bar (equivalent to a diving depth of 300 meters), the watch has been stringently tested and certified by independent testing institutes. It also meets the technical expectations of the DIN 8306 diving norm, with tests that adhere to the EN 250 and EN14143 European diving equipment standards. Sinn's proprietary Ar-Dehumidifying Technology is integrated to enhance the functional reliability, ensuring freedom from fogging. The push-pieces utilize Sinn’s D3-System for improved water resistance. The Temperature Resistance Technology guarantees function between –45 °C and +80°C. The entire case weighs 95 grams without the strap. The dial of this model is a vivid electroplated blue with a sunburst decoration, with indices, hour, minute, and second hands all coated with luminescent paint. Finally, the model includes a captive diver's bezel.
