DescriptionThe Rolex Yacht-Master II (reference 116680) is a high-performance regatta chronograph designed for professional sailors. The watch features a 44 mm Oystersteel case, a bidirectional rotatable Ring Command bezel with a blue Cerachrom insert, a white dial with luminescent Chromalight display, and an Oyster bracelet with an Oysterlock folding safety clasp and Easylink comfort extension link. The Oystersteel case is Rolex's proprietary 904L stainless steel alloy, which is particularly resistant to corrosion. The case is also protected by a screw-down case back and crown, which contribute to the watch's water resistance of 100 meters (330 feet). The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal provides a clear view of the dial.

The blue Cerachrom bezel is a Rolex innovation that is virtually scratchproof and resistant to ultraviolet rays. The bezel features a 60-minute graduated scale and a luminous dot at the 12 o'clock position. The Ring Command bezel is a unique feature of the Yacht-Master II that allows the wearer to program a countdown timer and synchronize it with the race start sequence. The white dial features large, luminescent hour markers and hands for excellent readability in all conditions. The dial also features a small seconds hand at 6 o'clock and a regatta countdown complication. The regatta countdown complication can be programmed for a duration of between 1 and 10 minutes. The countdown can be synchronized on the fly with the official race countdown using the Ring Command bezel.

The Oyster bracelet is a robust and comfortable three-piece link bracelet. The bracelet is made from Oystersteel and features an Oysterlock folding safety clasp with an Easylink comfort extension link. The Easylink comfort extension link allows the wearer to increase the length of the bracelet by approximately 5 mm for a more comfortable fit. The Rolex Yacht-Master II is powered by the calibre 4161 self-winding mechanical movement. The calibre 4161 is a chronometer-certified movement that is highly accurate and reliable. The movement has a power reserve of approximately 72 hours.
