DescriptionThe Rolex Yacht-Master 40 (Reference 126621) is a sophisticated timepiece designed for those who appreciate both luxury and functionality. Encased in a 40 mm Oystersteel and Everose gold case, this watch features a bidirectional rotatable bezel crafted from 18k Everose gold. The bezel incorporates a 60-minute graduated scale with raised polished numerals, offering excellent legibility and wear resistance. The black dial features simple geometric indices in the form of triangles, circles, and rectangles, all filled with a luminescent material called Chromalight that provides a long-lasting blue glow in dark conditions. A date window, positioned at the 3 o'clock location, displays the current date and is magnified by a Cyclops lens for easy reading.

The Rolex Yacht-Master 40 is powered by the self-winding Calibre 3235, a chronometer movement manufactured by Rolex. This highly precise movement has earned the designation of a Superlative Chronometer, meaning it has undergone rigorous testing by COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Control) and Rolex and has met exacting standards for precision and performance. The Calibre 3235 boasts a number of innovative features, including a blue Parachrom hairspring that is resistant to magnetic interference and high-performance Paraflex shock absorbers that protect the movement from shocks and vibrations. The movement also offers a 70-hour power reserve, ensuring the watch will continue to run for approximately three days after it is fully wound.

The Oyster bracelet is a perfect embodiment of both form and function. Crafted from a three-piece solid link design in Oystersteel and Everose gold, the bracelet is robust and comfortable to wear. An Oysterlock folding safety clasp with an Easylink comfort extension link keeps the watch securely fastened to the wrist and allows for quick and easy adjustment of the bracelet length to ensure a perfect fit.
