DescriptionThe Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Reference 126503 masterfully fuses timeless elegance with robust engineering. Its 40mm Oyster case, composed of Oystersteel and yellow gold, boasts a monobloc middle case, screw-down case back, and a Triplock winding crown. This construction ensures water resistance to an impressive 100 meters (330 feet). Encircling the case is a fixed yellow gold bezel, intricately engraved with a tachymetric scale designed to calculate average speeds over a chosen distance.

At the heart of this timepiece lies the Rolex Calibre 4131, a self-winding mechanical chronograph movement entirely crafted in-house. This Superlative Chronometer-certified movement guarantees a precision of -2/+2 seconds per day and features a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring for resistance to magnetic interference. Additionally, high-performance Paraflex shock absorbers shield the movement from impacts. The 4131 delivers chronograph functions with a central seconds hand, a 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock, a 12-hour counter at 9 o'clock, a stop-seconds function for accurate time setting, and a substantial 72-hour power reserve.

The white dial offers exceptional legibility with snailed counters, 18-karat yellow gold applied hour markers, and hands filled with Chromalight. This luminescent material emits a long-lasting blue glow for optimal readability in dim conditions. The time is indicated with central hour and minute hands and a small seconds subdial at 6 o'clock. The chronograph counters seamlessly track the passage of hours and minutes. Complementing the case is a secure Oyster bracelet, also fashioned from Oystersteel and yellow gold – a blend known as Yellow Rolesor. It features three-piece solid links and the Oysterlock safety clasp incorporating a 5mm Easylink extension for effortless on-the-go adjustments.
