This ultra-thin and lightweight caliber, measuring a mere 4.00 mm in thickness, ensures the watch sits comfortably on the wrist despite its 47.52 mm x 38.70 mm case dimensions. The grade 5 titanium construction, further enhanced by a black DLC treatment, offers exceptional rigidity and surface flatness, crucial for the smooth operation of the gear train. Bridges, also in grade 5 titanium with a grey DLC treatment, are meticulously finished with satin brushing, microblasting, and hand-beveling, adding a touch of elegance to the intricate mechanism.

The skeletonized baseplate and bridges of the caliber CRMA7 underwent rigorous independent testing to guarantee they meet the stringent strength requirements expected from a Richard Mille timepiece. Contributing to the remarkable thinness of the caliber CRMA7 is the rotor, meticulously crafted from Carbon TPT® and white gold. The individual layers, no more than 45 microns thick, are meticulously aligned and saturated with resins specially developed by Richard Mille. This meticulous layering process, combined with heat and pressure treatment, results in the characteristic damascene appearance of the case. The completed case construction boasts water resistance up to 30 meters, achieved through the use of two Nitrile O-ring seals. The case is further secured by 12 spline screws in grade 5 titanium and 316L stainless steel washers, ensuring exceptional robustness.
