DescriptionThe Richard Mille RM 62-01 is a manual winding tourbillon watch with a variety of complications, including a vibrating alarm, world time (UTC), date, and day/night indicator. The watch is limited to 30 pieces and is made of grade 5 titanium and Carbon TPT®, a material that is often used in the aerospace industry. The watch has a power reserve of around 70 hours and is water-resistant to 50 meters.

The movement of the RM 62-01 is the Calibre RM62-01, which was developed by Richard Mille in collaboration with Audemars Piguet. The movement is composed of 816 components and is decorated with a black PVD coating. The tourbillon cage is made of titanium and rotates once per minute. The vibrating alarm function is a new development from Richard Mille and is unique to the RM 62-01. The alarm is set using a function selector at 3 o'clock and can be programmed to vibrate for up to 12 seconds. The alarm is powered by a dedicated barrel that can be recharged by pressing a pusher at 8 o'clock.

The case of the RM 62-01 is tonneau-shaped and measures 49.94 mm x 43.00 mm x 16.15 mm. The caseback is made of sapphire crystal and provides a view of the movement. The bezel is made of Carbon TPT® and features a polished and satin-finished grade 5 titanium insert. The crown is located at 3 o'clock and is made of grade 5 titanium with a black rubber insert. The strap is made of black rubber and features a folding clasp made of grade 5 titanium.
