DescriptionThe Porsche Design Chronograph 1 Utility – Limited Edition, reference WAP0710250RCHU, represents a modern reinterpretation of a classic military chronograph design. Its case, measuring an unspecified diameter (though the movement is 30.00 mm) and with a height of 7.90mm, is constructed from titanium carbide, a Porsche Design patented material noted for its enhanced scratch resistance, reduced weight, and increased toughness compared to traditional materials. A threaded crown contributes to the watch's water resistance, rated up to 10 bar. Case finishing appears to integrate both glass bead blasting and polishing techniques, based on provided descriptive points. The caseback is a closed, threaded design made of titanium, it contributes to its water resistence. The caseback is decorated with an engraving of the "Mankei" along with "Chronograph 1 Utility Edition," and its limited edition number (XX/250).

The dial, protected by a sapphire crystal with a seven-fold anti-reflective coating on both sides and an integrated hard coating for additional scratch resistance, draws design cues from 1970s military chronographs. It features a matte-black finish. Legibility is prioritized, with the former tritium luminescent material replaced by blue Super-LumiNova®. A tachymeter scale is present on the dial. The watch is powered by the Porsche Design caliber WERK 01.240, a COSC-certified automatic movement with a flyback function, allowing for consecutive timing measurements. This movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), contains 25 jewels, and provides a power reserve of 48 hours. The movement includes the rotor for automatic energy consumption. The timepiece incorporates an interchangeable strap system. Its dimensions are 365 mm x 200 mm x 16 mm, and it weighs 200g.
