DescriptionThe Porsche Design Chronograph 1 – F.A.T. 2025 Edition, reference WAP0710250SSET, is a horological instrument directly inspired by the motorsport realm. Its design reflects a partnership with F.A.T. International, paying homage to the 1994 Le Mans-winning Porsche 962. The watchcase, measuring a substantial presence on the wrist, is constructed from ultra-light, durable titanium. A black titanium carbide coating provides a 100% scratch-resistant surface, achieved through a glass bead blasting process. This coating ensures longevity and resilience, meeting, and possibly, exceeding the demands of a motorsports environment. A threaded, closed case back further protects the movement, and its engraved with several items. These include a silhouette of the legendary 962 race car, the "F.A.T. 2025" logo, Porsche Design lettering, and the unique limited-edition number signifying its exclusivity within the 136-piece production run.

Powering the Chronograph 1 is the COSC-certified Porsche Design caliber WERK 01.240. This automatic movement, with a flyback function, operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz). The movement, with a height of 7.90 mm and a diameter of 30.00 mm, incorporates 25 jewels to minimize friction and maximize accuracy. A power reserve of 48 hours is guaranteed. The dial, fully coated with Super-LumiNova®, provides bright illumination. The hands, along with dial markings, are matte black. A unique detail is the dual-language date window (German/English), displaying F.A.T.'s signature red for the abbreviations "S.A.T." and "S.U.N.". Hidden design highlights are visible only in darkness. This includes a 962 silhouette at the 12-hour counter and the race car's name at the 6 o'clock position. The sapphire crystal protects the face. This glass offers seven-fold anti-reflective coating on both sides, is scratch-resistant, and has a hard coating. Water resistance extends to 10 bar. The complete package features quick changing straps; a black titanium strap, a white textile strap, and a purple textile/leather strap are all available.
