Its construction centers around a 41mm case crafted from titanium, finished with a black titanium carbide coating applied through a glass bead blasting process. This results in the signature matte black aesthetic, directly recalling the original 1972 design. The case features a threaded crown and a threaded case back, both contributing to a dynamic water resistance rating of 10 bar. The case back is made up of sapphire crystal, revealing the movement's internal details.

The dial, also in matte black, incorporates a tachymeter scale, a crucial element for measuring speed over a known distance. The date display uses the current Porsche Design font, maintaining visual consistency with other brand elements. Legibility is ensured by using sapphire crystal, known for its high scratch resistance. This crystal is further enhanced with a seven-fold anti-reflective coating on both sides and an added hard coating, minimizing glare and maximizing clarity under various lighting conditions.
