The 5470P-001 boasts a water resistance of 30 meters, making it suitable for everyday wear but not necessarily for submersion.

The star of the show in the 5470P-001 is undoubtedly its self-winding CH 29-535 PS 1/10 caliber. This movement represents a significant feat of engineering, being the first Patek Philippe chronograph movement designed and produced entirely in-house. It is comprised of 396 parts and operates at a frequency of 5 Hz, ensuring exceptional accuracy. Notably, the CH 29-535 PS 1/10 departs from the traditional chronograph design by incorporating an additional mechanism dedicated exclusively to tracking 1/10th of a second intervals.
