The movement, designated caliber CH 28-520 QA 24H, is housed in a 42 mm diameter, 14.13 mm thick stainless steel case. The caseback is made of sapphire crystal, allowing a view of the movement. The watch is water-resistant to 30 meters.

The self-winding movement means that the watch does not require batteries and instead derives its power from the natural motions of the wearer's arm. An automatic winding rotor, made of 21K gold in this instance, transfers kinetic energy from the wearer's movements to a mainspring within the movement. The mainspring slowly unwinds over time, providing power to the movement's gear train and thus keeping the watch running. The CH 28-520 QA 24H movement has a power reserve of between 45 and 55 hours, meaning that the watch will continue to run for this amount of time after it has been removed from the wrist and is no longer being wound.
