The case back is composed of sapphire crystal, offering a view of the intricate inner workings of the watch. Despite its slim profile, the Calatrava Ref. 4997/200R boasts a water resistance of 30 meters, making it suitable for everyday wear.

The timepiece houses the ultra-thin Caliber 240 self-winding mechanical movement. This caliber is renowned for its exceptional thinness, measuring just 2.53mm from top to bottom.
