Its case, measuring a substantial 47mm in diameter, is crafted from Carbotech™, a lightweight and durable carbon fiber composite material. The case's unique marbled pattern, resulting from the Carbotech™ manufacturing process, ensures that each timepiece possesses a distinct aesthetic.

At the heart of this watch beats the P.9010 caliber, an automatic mechanical movement meticulously engineered by Panerai. This 13¾ ligne caliber, with its 31 jewels and Glucydur® balance, operates at a frequency of 28,800 alternations per hour, ensuring precise timekeeping. The Incabloc® anti-shock device safeguards the movement from impacts, making it suitable for adventurous pursuits. With two barrels storing energy, the P.9010 caliber delivers a power reserve of 3 days, allowing the watch to maintain its accuracy even when not worn for extended periods.

The black carbon dial of the PAM02979 offers exceptional legibility, featuring luminous hour markers and dots that glow brightly in low-light conditions.
