The see-through sapphire crystal case back offers a captivating view of the P.9012 calibre automatic movement, a testament to Panerai's horological expertise.

Driving the watch's functions is the P.9012 calibre, an automatic mechanical movement meticulously engineered with 231 components. This 13¾ ligne movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 alternations per hour, ensuring precise timekeeping. With 31 jewels and a Glucydur® balance, the movement is not only accurate but also durable. The Incabloc® anti-shock device safeguards the movement against impacts, making it suitable for daily wear. A notable feature is the inclusion of two barrels, contributing to a power reserve of 3 days. The movement's versatility extends to its functions, including hours, minutes, small seconds, GMT with a 12-hour indicator, date display, and a power reserve indicator.
