DescriptionThe Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional Co-Axial Master Chronometer Chronograph reference 310.63.42.50.10.001 is a wristwatch designed for precision timekeeping and functionality. The watch case is crafted from 18K Moonshine™ gold, a proprietary rose gold alloy developed by Omega to resist tarnishing. The case measures 42 mm in diameter and 13.2 mm in thickness. The 18K Moonshine™ gold crown is located at the 3 o'clock position for manual winding and time setting. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment protects the watch face. The watch is water resistant to 5 ATM (50 meters), meaning it can withstand accidental immersion in water to a depth of 50 meters. However, it is not suitable for water sports or activities involving significant water pressure.

The timekeeping function is powered by the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861, a manual-winding movement with a silicon balance spring. The Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861 is a METAS-certified chronometer movement, meaning it has undergone rigorous testing and achieved exceptional levels of precision, magnetic resistance, and performance. The movement boasts a power reserve of approximately 50 hours.

The green dial features a sun-brushed finish and a "step" design, with a recessed subdial track. The hour and minute hands are central and made from 18K Moonshine™ gold with a white luminescent coating for readability in low-light conditions. The chronograph complication features a central chronograph seconds hand, a 30-minute subdial counter at 3 o'clock, and a 12-hour subdial counter at 6 o'clock. The green ceramic bezel ring features a tachymeter scale with a white enamel fill. The tachymeter scale is a conversion tool used to calculate speed based on time and distance. The watch is secured to the wrist with a green alligator leather strap with an 18K Moonshine™ gold fold-over clasp. The clasp features a double push-button release mechanism for ease of use. The caseback of the watch is made from polished 18K Moonshine™ gold and features a double bevel design. The caseback is engraved with the words "FIRST WATCH WORN ON THE MOON" in black lettering.
