The watch features a 42 mm diameter case with a polished finish and a black ceramic bezel ring. The bezel ring has a tachymeter scale made from Omega Ceragold™, a ceramic material with inlaid markings in 18K gold. The watch dial is made from 18K Moonshine™ gold with a sun-brushed finish and features blackened subdials and indexes. The dial is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective treatment on the inside.

The Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional Reference 310.62.42.50.99.001 is powered by the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861, a manually-wound movement that has been certified by METAS (Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology) to be resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss.
