DescriptionThe Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional Ref. 310.55.42.50.02.001 is a chronograph wristwatch crafted from 18K Canopus Gold™, a proprietary white gold alloy developed by Omega. The watch features a 42 mm diameter case with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal on the front and back. The asymmetrical case design is inspired by the Speedmaster models worn by astronauts during the Apollo missions. The bezel surrounding the dial is paved with diamonds, adding a touch of luxury to the timepiece.

The watch dial is a sun-brushed silvery color with black hour and minute hands. Luminous coating fills the center of the hands and hour markers, enabling time readability in low-light conditions. The dial features three subdials: a small seconds subdial at the 9 o’clock position, a 30-minute recorder at the 3 o’clock position, and a 12-hour recorder at the 6 o’clock position. A tachymeter scale is printed on the outside edge of the dial to measure speed.

The Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861 powers the watch. This manually-wound movement is a METAS-certified chronometer, meaning it has passed rigorous tests for precision, performance, and magnetic resistance. The Calibre 3861 features a free sprung balance with a silicon balance spring and an Co-Axial escapement. The movement boasts a 50-hour power reserve. The Canopus Gold™ bracelet features five arched links per row and secures with a fold-over clasp with a comfort setting. The watch has a water resistance of 5 bar (50 meters / 167 feet), which means it can withstand accidental immersion but is not suitable for recreational diving. The watch weighs approximately 243 grams.
