DescriptionThe Omega Speedmaster Moonphase is a chronograph wristwatch equipped with a moon phase complication. The timekeeping functionality is provided by the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 9904, a self-winding mechanical movement that has been certified by METAS to withstand magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. The movement features a free sprung balance with a silicon balance spring, which contributes to its chronometer-grade precision and resistance to magnetism. The Co-Axial escapement mechanism reduces friction and wear in the movement, enhancing its long-term performance. The caliber 9904 also boasts a power reserve of approximately 60 hours.

The stainless steel case measures 44.25 mm in diameter and 16.9 mm in thickness. The caseback is transparent, allowing a view of the intricate workings of the movement. The blue ceramic bezel ring features a tachymeter scale made from Liquidmetal, a metallic alloy that is known for its hardness and durability. The watch crystal is made of scratch-resistant sapphire with an anti-reflective treatment on both sides, ensuring excellent readability in all lighting conditions.
