DescriptionThe Omega Speedmaster Grey Side of the Moon reference 311.93.44.51.99.002 is a chronograph wristwatch equipped with a self-winding movement. The watch case is crafted from grey ceramic, a zirconium dioxide (ZrO2) material that is particularly resistant to scratches, wear, and corrosion. The case diameter measures 44.25 millimeters, and the distance between the lugs is 21 millimeters. The total thickness of the watch is 16.1 millimeters. The caseback is made from sapphire crystal and features a bevelled edge. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides protects the watch face. The watch dial is made of sandblasted platinum 950, a precious metal that offers a unique textured appearance. The hour and minute hands are central and rhodium-plated, as are the chronograph hands. The hour markers are applied and also rhodium-plated. A black tachymeter scale with white Super-LumiNova markings is positioned on the ceramic bezel.
