The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Co-Axial Master Chronometer reference 522.32.44.21.03.001 is a limited edition timepiece created to commemorate the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea. The watch features a 43.5 mm stainless steel case with a polished blue ceramic dial and a unidirectional bezel. The bezel ring is crafted from a combination of polished blue ceramic and red rubber, with the first 15 minutes of the diving scale highlighted in red. The Deep Blue dial features applied rhodium-plated indexes and a minute scale in Omega Liquidmetalâ„¢. The hour and minute hands are also rhodium-plated, and filled with white Super-LumiNova for exceptional readability in low-light conditions. The central sweep seconds hand is red, matching the color accent on the bezel.
The screw-in caseback is engraved with the words "PLANET OCEAN" and "LIMITED EDITION," as well as the Limited Edition number. The words "PyeongChang 2018" and the Olympic Games logo are also transferred to the caseback's sapphire crystal. The watch is water resistant to 600 meters (60 bar) and is equipped with a helium escape valve, a feature that allows divers to safely depressurize the watch after a deep dive.
