The watch case is crafted from brushed and polished 950-grade platinum, a precious metal known for its density, luster, and resistance to corrosion. The case measures 43.5 millimeters in diameter and 17.3 millimeters in thickness. It is designed to be water resistant up to 60 bars or 600 meters (2000 feet), making it suitable for professional diving. The watch’s bidirectional rotating bezel features a polished orange ceramic ring. Ceramic is a remarkably hard and scratch-resistant material, making the bezel well-suited for everyday wear. The bezel’s surface features Liquidmetal™ hour markers, numerals, and a diving triangle. Liquidmetal™ is an amorphous alloy that is both incredibly hard and scratch-resistant, and its glassy appearance offers a distinct contrast to the polished ceramic.
