The black ceramic dial features facetted 18K white gold hour markers and hands, all coated with white Super-LumiNova for excellent legibility in low-light conditions. The bezel ring is made of black ceramic and features a unique design with a decorative zigzag pattern set with 8 baguette-cut diamonds, 44 baguette-cut rubies, and 44 baguette-cut sapphires. The bezel rotates unidirectionally for diver safety and features a GMT scale for keeping track of time in two different time zones. The helium escape valve system is also adorned with red rubies.

The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Deep Black 600M is powered by the Omega Calibre 8906, a self-winding co-axial master chronometer movement. The movement is resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss and has been certified by METAS to deliver superior chronometer performance. The movement also features a silicon balance spring, which is free from the traditional drawbacks of hairsprings made from conventional materials. The silicon balance spring is more resistant to magnetic fields, shock, and temperature variations, contributing to the overall exceptional timekeeping performance of the caliber 8906. The movement has a power reserve of 60 hours. The watch is water-resistant to 60 bar (600 meters / 2000 feet), making it suitable for professional diving. The watch is presented on a black alligator leather strap with a black rubber lining for comfort and durability. The strap is secured to the wrist with a fold-over clasp made of black ceramic.
