The case of the watch is crafted from 45.5 millimeters of stainless steel, a marine-grade material known for its resistance to corrosion. The caseback is an alveol screw-in design, ensuring a tight seal to maintain water resistance up to 60 bars (600 meters or 2000 feet). A helium escape valve is also integrated into the casework, a critical feature for professional divers that allows the watch to expel helium gas buildup during decompression dives.

The watch's timekeeping functions are powered by the Omega Calibre 9900, a self-winding mechanical movement equipped with a Co-Axial escapement and anti-magnetic properties. The Co-Axial escapement, a ingenious innovation from Omega, reduces friction within the movement for improved chronometric performance and long-term durability.
