DescriptionThe Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Co-Axial Master Chronometer Chronograph is a professional-grade divers’ watch built with a robust 45.5 mm diameter stainless steel case. The caseback is an alveol screw-in design, ensuring a tight seal to maintain the watch’s impressive 60 bar (600 meters / 2000 feet) water resistance. A helium-escape valve is integrated into the case design, a feature specifically designed for divers using saturation diving techniques. The unidirectional rotating divers’ bezel features a blue ceramic construction with a Liquidmetal™ diving scale. The bezel’s unidirectional rotation prevents accidental movement during dives, ensuring accurate measurement of elapsed time underwater. Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the watch’s blue ceramic dial, which features a mix of Arabic numerals and hour markers for timekeeping. The dial also features a date window positioned at the 6 o’clock position, and three sub-dials for the chronograph complication. The sub-dials display the chronograph’s running seconds, 60-minute counter, and 12-hour counter. Powering the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Co-Axial Master Chronometer Chronograph is the Omega Calibre 9900, a self-winding automatic movement. Certified as a Master Chronometer by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS), the caliber 9900 has undergone rigorous testing to endure magnetic fields, extreme temperatures, shock, and water resistance. The movement boasts a 60-hour power reserve when fully wound. The watch is secured to the wrist with a stainless steel bracelet featuring a foldover clasp with a comfort setting and diver extension. The clasp’s diver extension allows for the bracelet to be worn comfortably over a diving suit.
