The use of titanium provides a lightweight and exceptionally corrosion-resistant foundation for the watch, making it ideal for underwater environments. The case back of the watch is made from scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, allowing the wearer to view the inner workings of the Omega Co-Axial 8500 caliber movement. This automatic movement is COSC-certified chronometer, meaning it has met stringent precision standards. It features a free sprung balance with a silicon balance spring, which contributes to its exceptional resistance to shock and magnetism. The Co-Axial 8500 caliber also boasts a power reserve of approximately 60 hours.

The blue dial of the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M features a wave pattern and a date window located at the 3 o’clock position. The hour markers and hands are rhodium-plated and coated with white Super-LumiNova for excellent legibility in low light conditions. The unidirectional rotating bezel of the watch is made from blue ceramic and features a Liquidmetal diving scale.
