The caseback is transparent, allowing a view of the Omega Co-Axial Calibre 8501 movement. The movement is a self-winding, chronometer-certified mechanical movement with a power reserve of 60 hours. It is resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. The black dial features white hands and index markers, as well as a date window at the 3 o'clock position. The hands and markers are coated with white Super-LumiNova, a luminescent material that emits light in low-light conditions. The bezel is made of black ceramic and features a diving scale in 18K red gold. The bezel unidirectional, meaning it can only be rotated in one direction, which helps to prevent accidental decompression during a dive.
